1. In the app
- Sign in, if you are not already.
- Open the menu and go to Settings.
- At the bottom, tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account and the data tied to it are deleted from our servers at once, and the app returns to an anonymous session.
2. By email
If you no longer have the app, write to [email protected] from the email address you signed in with, or from the address of the Apple or Google account you used. Say that you want the account deleted. We will confirm by reply before we delete it, and again when it is done.
3. What is deleted
- Your account: the email address or the Apple or Google identity, and your sign-in sessions.
- Your devices and pairings, including the pairings other people had with you.
- Anchor positions and history, I’m OK check-ins and live state.
- Trips and saved routes.
- Your boats and their equipment, the manuals you attached to them, and the manuals you uploaded that no one else uses.
- Your anchorage ratings, notes and bookmarks, and reports you made.
4. What is not
- A manual we approved into the shared library stays there, without your name.
- BoatGPT conversations you did not delete yourself remain stored without any link to an account. Delete them in the app first if you would rather not leave them behind.
- Forecast request logs stay for service statistics; after deletion they can no longer be linked to anyone.
- Whatever is on your phone (offline maps, the anchor, preferences) stays until you uninstall the app.
